I first met Marion at Norma's Saturday morning ukulele sessions in Sheepscombe. I must admit that at first I didn't know what to make of her, but the more I got to know her the more I liked her. She then started coming to our little ukulele group in Brockworth library and soon it became obvious what a great singing voice she had - especially for the blues. I loved playing along as she was singing some old blues standard. A lovely lady. I shall miss her a lot. I can imagine her singing the blues up above and if the Angels didn't like it telling them Where to get off!

She was a Northener like me and we don't mince words! God bless Marion.
